The program meets the licensure requirements in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) states in the diagram below. A graduate taking the Missouri National Licensure Exam-NCLEX must be a resident of Missouri to obtain licensure in the NLC. A non-Missouri resident taking the Missouri NCLEX will be eligible for a single state license. A license to practice nursing may also be obtained in a non-NLC state without retaking the NCLEX. Fees and instructions for obtaining licensure in a non-NLC state can be found on that state’s Department of Professional Regulation website.
